Strawpaw is an iOS app for dog and cat parents that puts daily pet care in one place:

• Training - Personalized lessons that adapt to your pet’s breed, behavior, and your experience level
• Food Scanner - Scan a product’s barcode to see which ingredients are risky for your pet
• Care Hub - Vet visits, medications, and grooming organized with reminders
• Walks - GPS walk tracking with route history

Think of it as a supportive friend who’s always ready to help, right in your pocket.

Strawpaw is free to download and use. Down the road, some advanced features may move into a Pro subscription billed through your Apple ID — if that happens, it will be clearly marked in the app, and you’ll always see the price before paying anything.

No ads either way. Your pet isn’t a product.

Point your camera at a product’s barcode. Strawpaw looks up the product and analyzes its ingredient list against a database of substances that can be harmful to dogs and cats — things like excessive salt, sugar, or corn syrup — and flags anything risky with a severity rating, so you can decide before you feed.

Two honest caveats:

• You’ll need an internet connection — the analysis runs on our servers.
• Scanner results are informational, not veterinary advice. When in doubt, ask your vet.

Strawpaw is built for iPhone. It runs on recent versions of iOS — if your iPhone is up to date, you’re good.

There’s no iPad-optimized or Android version yet. We’re focused on making the iPhone experience great first.

Mostly, no — Strawpaw needs an internet connection. Your account, pet profiles, and records sync to the cloud, and the food scanner’s ingredient analysis runs on our servers.

If you lose connection mid-walk, GPS tracking keeps recording on your phone and syncs when you’re back online.
